My Left Hand

People are voyeurs. Much as they deny it they are. Like I really needed the invation, but y'all did ask to see it. And at work too- "I wanna see it!" "I'm not taking the bandage off, you guys. But I have pictures!"

Also reinforced that I never do anything halfway. That one blade-flashing monment is going to be following me for a long while. Grow, nerves, grow!

I think I see Jesus in that pattern. Can you sell a hand on eBay? I mean, is that allowed?

Dearly Lou Who. Stay away from bright, shiny objects--most of them have sharp edges.

It's healing nicely.

Tis merely a flesh wound.

Hmm, it does look like it's healing, but if it hit the nerve, it's not just a flesh wound. That'll bother you for quite some time...sorry you went through that...

No sharp objects for you anymore! :)

Ah, Nettie, I always suspected that you were a cut up.

Yup--it does look like a baby shark bite. I once cut my hand with a box cutter. Laid open the skin very neatly, like a scalpel. It didn't even bleed. Scared me to death, though.

Nettie for a change I will have to not joke around with you. I am full of slices. It is strange that this happens because I have Aichmophobia. It doesn't hinder me from doing anything. But, I definitely get chill bumps when I see broken glass or a blade.

I understand you may be a little gun shy for a while. There is a way to get over it. There aint nothin' to it but to do it. Just start cutting open boxes again. Just keep your other hand on the opposite corner. And guarded box cutters are a good thing.

Well Miss Nettie Bell, It looks like you will have a reminder of how not to use a box cutter. I'm glad you are healing. Keep putting that Vit.E on the incision and take it internally so you won't grow any scar tissue. It did wonders for me. Well, have a happy Thanksgiving and stay away from anything sharp.

How cute! I just realized it was a connect the dots to what will be a lady bug.

Perhaps you could do a time series of photos, just so we can see the original and how it healed up. For the sake of science of course.

##TITLE## is a fun title to find. It just amused me when I came across it on my search
for scars in these blogs. Amazing what you can find and where you end up.
