Happy Thanksgiving and all that, to my American readers anyway. But this is my 300th post and I wanted it to be special. So as Darlene likes to do, a republishing of a post special to me. This is probably my favorite of the poems that I wrote for my Kevin. Always...
Where You Are
Cradled in the arms of the Lord
you are.
But I will always remember
your smile
your laughter
your love for life.
And in the end,
you won.
You won forever.
Look beyond what you see...

Wow 300 posts! Good for you! Question for you----do you print all your blogs out or back them up? I'm a new blogger really, and someone told me that it's a good idea in case blogger accidently has a crash --- is that possible? Hmmm..... not to scare ya or anything... just wondering myself.

Nettie: I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. As I am just getting to know you, I didn't know anything about your cousin Kevin, but now I do. I am so sorry for your loss, and I am sure it was felt during this holiday. I'll say a prayer for you and yours (and Kevin) during this holiday season.

Oh Nettie! Congratulations and what a beautiful poem.
I can't re-emphasize what Deb said enough. You know I lost all of my stuff not long after my 500th post. Broke my heart. A lot of it was crap but some of it was sentimental.
Back your work up! You've got some great stuff here, like the poem, and it would be a shame to lose it.
