You heard me say I can’t but I did. What you’ve seen, what you know, no one else does. I thought I would be alone, and afraid- here you were by my side. I am strong, but not alone. Not without you. And therein lies my faith.
I relate to YOUR WRITING if it is a poem so be it too, but I feel that WE are given strength when we feel we do not have it. God is with us and leads if we allow HIM to. You are never alone especially if you open your heart and allow HIM in. We live with faith and should TRUST that all will be as HIS WILL.
Hey Nettie, Love that name! (smiling)My beloved grandmother's as you already know.
I was lead today to a special post as a result...I now have a link in my newest post to there - of a Single Christian Mom that is a Hurricane Katrina survivor from New Orleans. It reminds us all to be thankful and it is extremely touching. If you decide to read it, you will not regret it nor forget. Just thought you may want to check it out. (smiling)
Loves: my nephew, SVU, Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper, my job, growing up in the South, writing, music, movies, Europe, America, politics, laughing, loving, living.
Name:Nettie
Location:South Carolina, United States
Loves cartoons, educational stuff, reruns of the Golden Girls and especially Law and Order: SVU. Forever cold and hungry- sad, eh? Adores working at Bath and Body Works- "It's more than a job, it's a way of life!" Her Buick is named Harvey -she doesn't know why either. A certified klutz, yet they still let her play with boxcutters. Loves music new and old. Saved at the age of nine. Likes to make people laugh. Fell in love with Europe on her after-senior-year trip and wants to go back and randomly wander and look at stuff. Tends to randomly wander anyway when she's transfixed in her own little world. Republican politics volunteer since before she could vote, despite her hatred of making phone calls. Is thoroughly obsessed with a certain eight month old child named Austin fortunate enough to share her gene pool.
